An excellent plot twist in the beginning! And I thought, why do my starting characters have 3K XP… The story is intriguing. And I like how it smoothly engages the player in the action. The combat was dynamic. It would be helpful to see some info about your opponents, if not their detailed stats, but at least the general estimation whenever the enemy is healthy or on the brink of death unless the lack of this information is part of the mechanics, of course. It took me a few times to understand that your decisions during the combat were time-limited. At least I had such an impression because when I thought a bit longer, enemies were starting to act. As a side note, I’ve got the impression that using a mass-effect spell is always a win if you have MP. These spells are way more effective than hitting enemies one by one in the current version and don’t take much mana. The characters look promising, and I would like to learn more about them. Interestingly, the line of sight effect helps bring more life to the environment. Everything feels more dynamic with it. Never thought of it from this perspective before.
