Notes from gameplay:
- Nice, clean main menu. Reminds me of Overwatch
- Weird blur around the torso and outlines of the characters. Beard looks untextured
- Font choices and text outlines look very nice!
- Credits button is nonfunctional
- Options: "Medium" not "Mideum"
- No way to back out of options menu? Have to reboot game
- Music would be nice
- Game map looks like an Overwatch version of SOCOM. Not a bad thing, pulls in some clear inspiration from other shooters
- The AI is doing its own thing. Seems like I'm winning just standing here
- Do I have an ammo count? Do I need to reload?
- lol there is friendly fire
- hard to distinguish which team is which. Different uniforms, colors around the toons, etc would help distinguish
- I like the map design!
- would like to be able to destroy objects
- AI shots don't seem to do much damage, whereas my shots kill them pretty quickly
- Aiming and movement is fluid and intuitive
- AI doesn't seem that smart, I stood right next to one and they didn't shoot me
- AI keep killing each other.
- Wish I could lead my squad to follow me
- Team B seems to be mostly hanging out in their base, pathing issues?
Overall, interesting concept, but seems like it was intended for a different jam. I encourage you to keep working on this and submit it for a jam for revised projects!
