The game is not strictly 1-bit, and also borrows various graphics from different sources. The intro is very long and unskippable, and a lot of things are repeated. English is probably not the developer's first language, and that is not an issue at all by itself, but the game could definitely benefit from some proof reading. This is by no means a bad game, however, and with a few adjustments, it has the potential of becoming a good game.
