Interesting stuff. I played MtG a long, long time ago and have never tried YuGiOh at all. I probably wouldn't have if I didn't run across this. I like how you distilled the game down to an essential form. Took awhile to understand the rules, but overall I'm glad I tried this.

Cool! YuGiOhJi was a little passion project from when I had a lot of time to work on it. Unfortunately, I don't have the time/motivation to improve it further (since I'm fully into Yu-Gi-Oh and other stuff currently.) But I like to hear, that my little game has found some gamers to enjoy it.
It is really tricky to get into Yu-Gi-Oh the way one plays it nowadays, because it is quite more involved than all other Trading Card Games (rulewise as well as concerning the huge number of playable decks). But I guess it helps a lot, if one is not only playing the video game simulators, but also plays local turnaments at cards shops nearby, (if you have that, where you live).
Also, it might help, if one has someone, who knows Yu-Gi-Oh better then oneself to learn from them. So, if you need some advice, or good budget decklists, feel free to ask.
