Hi TommyK1986, thanks for playing our game, and I'm glad you enjoyed it.
A couple have people mentioned the idea of the mom being similar, but not identical to the player, but it didn't really occur to us at the time! What we did think about was somewhat the opposite - possibly making it so that the other characters had a lot of similarities to the player, but only one looked exactly the same. We could then modulate the difficulty based on the number of similarities, but we couldn't get it working in time.
