An installer is a no no for me. I am not saying it has something malicious but a lot of people will not download and install it.

The installer just wraps the game files (a jar file containing the actual game, a local jdk to run the game without needing java installed on your machine and two .exe files, one starting the game with and one without a console) and unpacks them, nothing more.
Maybe providing a zip file as an alternative would be an option?
