Adding a tutorial whether it be in the game itself or your actual itch page would definitely go a long way, because despite the minimalist concept I really struggled to understand exactly what I should be doing. I think even having the inputs the game would be using (wasd and space) in the main menu without any explanation would've helped a lot. I love the minimalist aesthetic though!
