I hope all is well and I'm grateful for your continued interest in TBD.
I was miserably unsuccessful at the soul fragment hunt, and I have yet to actually gain anything from one of those levels but I'm still trying to figure out the mechanic.
I may need to work on the difficulty balance for this one, as this does diverge from the foundational turn-based mechanics of the game.
Perhaps introducing a method that eases up on some parameters slightly over time if the player struggles with this game mode. The main worry for me is if players actively seek to avoid the game mode. If so, it's time to consider making changes.
...had to play on a trackpad during the playtest so maybe when I have a mouse close by I will be able to play those parts more effectively.
Oh wow, I think that explains a significant part of the struggle then. I've only tested this mode with a mouse ^^.
Game is still looking awesome excited to keep seeing more!
