i had a lot of fun just collecting the cards, and i think the art style was very nice and unique! maybe the hitbox for the cards could be a little smaller; i found that i didn't have to go very near them to pick them up. you could also maybe add some platforming elements to make some of the cards harder to reach. overall a really fun game, i hope you keep working on it!

It's a pleasure that you found collecting the cards fun. Indeed, the hitbox (in this case, it's a sphere) is a little bigger. Usually, when I have collectibles in games, I add a magnetic movement towards the player. That is why the hitbox is larger, and the magnetic movement isent included in the game jam entry. I hope that I can add it in the next build.
