I like your take on the theme, the atmosphere was very surprising and unique. I also really enjoyed how the difficulty ramped up over time. It didn't feel too overbearing. 


I think it could use some UI elements to help the player understand that the game is time-based. Originally, I thought the objective was to kill all of the enemies in the area so I was actually playing recklessly instead of trying to survive.

That's true! at first it had the timer but got it out. I now see it could be actually useful. Thank you for the comment !
