Well crafted pixel art and simplistic visuals when properly made can be a beautiful choice for a video game

it's seems challenging to me to create a game with pixel art , and i have a plan to do so too in the future when it's possible to me.

Pixel Art Games can be Fun Games can be cool and can be adventurous and nice memories !!

Questions:

Did you implement any optimization techniques, or did you choose to use only in-engine optimizations?

What engine and tools did you use to create your game, including the graphics?

How challenging was it to develop your game? Did you face any significant obstacles?

What inspired your game idea and gameplay? Could you share the story behind the game's name?

How did you get into video game development?

Note: It would mean a great deal to me if you could rate my game. If you haven't already, feedbacks from friends and fellow gamers is valuable to me. Thank you in advance for your consideration and your time.

Thanks!

Ilias.

Thanks for playing! For the game I tried making it with the Godot game engine for the first time. There wasn’t anything too hard to make, but the grappling went through a lot of visual and mechanical iterations. The name Ground Gliders came because you went so fast with different mechanics it was like you gliding. And my brother liked the name. The idea for the game originally came from the idea of an online multiplayer arena game where your goal is to eliminate a specific player.

From your experience is godot easy to learn  ? does it have visual scripting  for non super coders?

Was the 10 days frame for the jam enough for you to develop your game ,  or were you forced to set aside some mechanics that you originally wanted to includ at first ?
