That was a great short experience, especially the wolf. Didn’t understand the lantern mechanic at first (didn’t see controls until second campfire), ended up skipping first campfire and going to the second one without a lantern on.

Visual Lighting setup was fantastic, would to see how the campfire was made. Overall great audio selections. Great pacing.

Things I think could’ve been improved. There’s a few sticky collision issues with the trees and there were some ordering issues between the player and the trees

We definitely fell short with time on the polishing with the UI elements and an explainer for sure.

The campfire was made with 2 Area2D zones. A small on for interaction and a larger one for a 'warm zone'. It was definitely finicky with all of the interaction checks, but we got it done. 


Overall this an absolute blast. This was our first Jam since College (4 years ago) and our first time using Godot entirely. We actually all did a Godot tutorial the day the jam started lol. It was super fun playing around with all of the lighting and sound elements.
