The art in this game is such a treat. Santa seems a bit cursed (where is his face, oh god), but in a funny and memorable way. Spooky Santa didn't feel totally aligned with Santa in the main gameplay, but you get away with it by sandwiching the gameplay between spooky Santa opening and the tragic dead Santa/reindeer game over painting. Loved the way the opening sequence was done, and I found the gameplay entertaining and the controls natural to get the hang of. The only (maybe?) issue I experienced was that extra hearts often spawned over enemies, so I couldn't refill hearts much because I'd just take damage and lose them. For me, the game overall didn't feel super cozy, but it was absolutely wintery and fun, and I think it is a fantastic entry nonetheless. Great work!

Thank you! I agree that it didn't feel very cozy with the exception that there's a fire in the opening cutscene, fire is cozy. We decided that we wanted to make something fun and cozy but ended up going more toward the fun side.

Santa has a long lifespan that's why he hasn't shaved in a long long time. He's also quite drunk and overworked so I'm sorry for his behalf on his unhygienic cursed appearance.

Hahaha love the lore behind the art.
