This is a really cute concept, and I love the art style and the use of tunnels to move between areas in the map. I felt like the difficulty was just right, also, because I was able to beat the game on my second attempt, but it was tricky to get around the human and the cat and I had some close calls.

Unfortunately I found the pathfinding mechanic unusable; if I drew a path from the start zone to the tunnel out to the house, when the house map appeared, a path automatically set to the last point I had clicked in the start room. This forced the beetle into a wall and I couldn't cancel the action, so I kept getting caught. When I stopped trying to use the pathfinding and just used WASD, gameplay was smooth and as expected.

Because of the issue above I had to reload many times, and I also noticed there were some issues with the music. Sometimes when I launched the game it played normally, and other times it had major stutter/quality issues. Refreshing the page and relaunching the game once or twice seemed to fix this.

Overall, ultimately minor issues for an otherwise amazingly executed game. Great work!

Thanks for playing!! I'm glad you felt like the difficulty was good, we spent the last few hours tuning it and were a little worried!

The pathfinding action should be canceled once you click WASD - which I realize now we never explained to the player, haha. I'll add it to the description at least.

That seems so simple, but I guess I didn't try it! I'm sure it will help someone else out to know it :D
