You bring up very good points; the grappling hook is indeed rigid-body based infact it is based on a sequence of pin joints, which took a long time to implement, so sadly when i realized that is was a bit janky we had no time to re-implement it in a more deterministic fashion. i was hoping to more of a spiderman swining feel but alas.
If i every come around to fixing the swing, i will for sure try to implement your suggestions ๐
And if you really dare to look at the code you are welcome, just be aware it is a hot bowl of jam spaghetti ๐
