So usually I always wait until I played the full game to write my comment

BUT I HAVE THINGS TO SAY AND SAID THINGS WANT TO FLOW OUT OF MY MIND SO I'LL EXCEPTIONALLY WRITE TWO PARTS

I originally planned other things for my evening but then I remembered this game came out recently and I was like "wait I HAVE TO PLAY IT"

As of now I only played the game over ending and Genzou's route

AND I ALREADY LOVE THE GAME AND IT ALREADY HEALS MY HEART OH MY GOD

For a current general comment on the game, well it's really funny and tooth-rotting fluff hehe except for a few moments BUT WELL IT'S HURT/COMFORT SO IT'S FIIIIIINE

One of the first sentences being : "He was not an especially accomplished man. Nor an attractive one." I GIGGLED LOL.

AND THE ASEXUAL BACKGROUND ON IGGY'S PHONE AHHHHHHHHH

The chats in general are so funny lmao (espescially Genzou's). Even tho since English is not my first language sometimes I had to read Bux's chats three times to get the right words lmao

AND ALL THE LITTLE REFERENCES IN IGGY'S ROOM ASNVAUEKHCBO and also the littles poses Iggy has on the diffrent days he's so silly

Also the screen at the beginning of each day feels extra dramatic but it makes it funny haha

So yeah at first I wanted to play the game over because. Why not. Gotta see what happens. And well Iggy just doesn't go to the party BUT since I didn't do anything expcept work and occasionally played games, I had fun buying everything available in the online shop SO I STILL GOT THE SILLY CONVERSATION WITH GENZOU ABOUT THE KIRBY PLUSHIE

AS FOR GENZOU'S ROUTE...

WELL OF COURSE I BEGAN WITH GENZOU'S ROUTE WHO DO YOU TAKE ME FOR

AND IT WAS A VERY GOOD DECISION

BECAUSE GENZOU, BEING THE KIND MAN HE IS TO IGGY, HAS NOT ONLY FUNNY CHATS BUT ALSO WARM AND COMFORTING ONES

I WILL NEVER GET TIRED OF HIM SAYING HE WOULDN'T CARE IF HIS PARTNER WAS BE ASEXUAL (my aroace heart cries of joy each time)(the whole smash or pass conversation felt like a big hug) GREAT LORD I LOVE THIS MAN

And then also I have some little favourite moments... Like when Iggy founds back his plushie... HE FOUNDS IT BACK IN THIS UNIVERSE I'M SO HAPPY

Also Genzou saying "the non-stop mariah carey on the radio" is actually so relatable

AND IGGY AND GENZOU KISS HIIIII GIGGLING KICKING MY FEET ROLLING ON MY BED AND CRYING OF JOY (/hj). AS WELL FOR THE LIL PHOTOS AT THE END THEY ARE SO CUTE. AWEUGH THEM SHARING A BED AT THE END I LOVE THEM SO FRICKIN MUCH

So uh I think that's the end of the first part of my comment ! I will try to play the others routes and all tomorrow if I have time SO MAYBE NEXT PART TOMORROW WHO KNOWS ? But to summarize my feelings well AMAZING GAME AS ALWAYS CARROT I AM IMPATIENT TO DISCOVER MORE OR IT :D

Ahhhhh I'm so glad you like it so far!! 😭💕 LMAO I DO LOVE ME SOME HURT/COMFORT WEEP. I feel like if I'm ever gonna make something a bit fluffier than my usual stuff it's always gotta have at least a touch of bittersweet hurt/comfort to go with it as it heals my poor miserable soul dlkajdsf

LOL YOU GOT THE GAME OVER FIRST HELPPPP I don't know if I've seen anyone else that has purposefully tried to get a game over (besides my testers maybe lakjfdald) That is very funny to me. But yes it's nothing too extravagant he just can't go to the party LOL tho there is slightly different text based on what part causes Iggy not to go to the party....

Weeping I'm so happy you liked Genzou's convos 🥺 Genzou's convos (and ending/route in general) will always hold such a special place in my heart, maybe because he and Iggy's dynamic is just so precious and mildly cathartic for me guhhhh. So it makes me really glad to hear some of the convos (ESPECIALLY THAT ONE LAKJDFA) were very impactful ahhhh. I ALSO LOVE THEM SO MUCCCCHHHHHHHH I think every time someone says they love Genzy my heart grows like 5 sizes or something lakjdfa

SOB I'M JUST SO HAPPY YOU'RE ENJOYING IT SO MUCH SO FAR. It means so much that you'd take the time to write up all your thoughts lkadjfa reading them brought such a smile to my face!! I hope that you'll enjoy the other routes just as much whenever you have the time to play them!! Thank you so much always for all your kind words 🥰

SO IT TOOK ME MUCH LONGER THAN EXPECTED BUT HERE IS SECOND PART OF MY RAMBLINGS

Once again for general aspects, I FORGOT THIS THE FIRST TIME BUT BUCKS' RETELLING OF CINDERELLA I'M WHEEZINGGGGG

Also the "GET THE FUCK OUT OF BED!!!" LIKE YEAH IGGY YOU GO DUDE

ONE MORE THING I really find it so so cute that at the end of each route you get a little picture of them sharing a bed like awe and then you got the "stay in bed" option WHICH WAS PREVIOUSLY ASSOCIATED WITH ANXIETY (so something bad) BUT NOW IT'S ASSOCIATED WITH LOVE SO IT'S GOOD AND KJBFASJBJCKB I'M SO HAPPY I'M SOBBING and also the fact that each of them mention Iggy being asexual and having a little something to say about it (all positive of course :D), like Genzou being extra supportive and nice and accepting it right away, Orlam saying that he doesn't expect anything from Iggy if Iggy doesn't want to do it, and Gidget saying "you don't have to be ace to be confused about romance" JSKSJKSNS I LOVE THEM ALL THE ACCEPTANCE FROM EVERYONE FEELS LIKE A BIG WARM HUG

Now about Orlam's route

It was very fun (though ORLAM YOU AND YOUR SEX JOKES MY GOD) and nice 'cause yeah while Genzou and Iggy together is my favourite I still do very much enjoy the dynamics with Orlam and Gidget !

I love the way Orlam talks LIKE IT'S FANCY and a bit POECTIC and that's COOL but ALSO SOMETHING ELSE MAYBE THAT I CAN'T PLACE A WORD ON ??? BUT YEAH I REALLY LIKE THAT.

"That was a slash pos" TONE TAGS MENTIONNED MY BRAIN IS HAPPY

Oh he speaks French so that's why he likes being so classy with his words huh (/hj we French speaking people aren't as charismatic as most of the world population seems to think)(our insults are great though :D)

Orlam being SWEET oh WOW. I mean it's not that I thought that Orlam couldn't be sweet at all but I may also have gotten too used to his psychopathic self in the main game lol- Though I love both aspects of him !

AND NOW with Gidget's route

It's all cute cute awe :D I feel like the relationship between Iggy and Gidget is quite different from the two others because with Genzou and Orlam their personalities are more... not really "extroverted", though maybe a tiny bit but also... A bit more "exuberant" ? (IT DOESN'T REALLY FEELS LIKE THE RIGHT WORD BUT I COULDN'T FIND ANYTHING ELSE-) Especially in comparison with Iggy ? And Gidget's personality is closer to Iggy, so the dynamic is quite different and so the way Iggy acts also feels different. NOT IN A BAD WAY OF COURSE but I just noticed this and I thought it was extra nice ! Also it's SO NICE to see Gidget being able to be themself like yeah people under the non-binary umbrella let's rise together !!! I'm all for it !!! I'M ON YOUR SIDE !!! I'M ONE OF YOU !!! And well the casual representation feels extremely nice, as well for the asexuality !

Specifically I GOT A NEW CONV WITH GENZOU. Specifically the one with "you ass ain't that bad. platonically of course." GENZOU HELLO ??? I know you definitely did not mean that PLATONICALLY. ESPECIALLY AFTER YOU REPEAT THOSE EXACT WORDS (the "platonically of course") AT LEAST THREE TIMES YOU'RE NOT HELPING YOUR CASE

AND I ACHIEVED GREEN HEARTS WITH EVERYONE ! Still got game over lol since Iggy didn't feel comfortable enough to go to the party with anyone BUT IT WAS WORTH IT FOR SCIENCE

HHHHHHHHHHHH reading this made me so happy!! I'm really happy you continued to enjoy the game with the other routes!! Your candid reactions and comments are always hilarious and brighten my day ldkjfalsdk 😭💕

I really wanted like a little final "treat" at the end for each LI, mostly just because I hate ending things so I like to delay it as long as possible and also as a reason to sit through the credits, etc. This idea just felt so cute and perfect and fit with the rest of the game so well lkdadfa so I'm really glad you liked it 🤭

I wanted it to be slightly different between all the LIs simply because their dynamic is so different?? Like, I knew I wanted Iggy to already be out to Gidget, since it just seemed like something that would have happened in this timeline what with Gidget also being very out and active in the queer community, which would have made Iggy a lot more comfortable talking about it with them. With Orlam, Orlam is so good at reading people that he's able to guess even without Iggy telling him. And with Genzou, Iggy feels awkward and weird bringing it up just in normal conversation because it's not the type of thing they typically talk about, but even though he's not able to say it outright, they kinda dance around it and Genzou ultimately understands even in not so few words and is accepting of it. (I think this also kinda meshes with the 3 LIs involvement/experience in LGBTQIA+ spaces, with Gidget being super active in the RL queer scene, attending events, going to meetups, getting involved; Orlam being well versed in it particularly from an online perspective but not being incredibly active in RL; and Genzou despite being out to his friends and family is much more private about it and also isn't involved in much of anything online and definitely not in RL besides occasionally trying some dating apps and forums).

DLKFAJDSLKFAD THE ORLAM FRENCH PARTS I APOLOGIZE FOR ANY AND ALL RIDICULOUSNESS that convo is so off the rails... I don't imagine that he is fluent at all, but I do think it was something he took in school and enjoyed a lot so at least tried to keep up with it a bit 🤣💦

I was partly worried about this at first as I was afraid people might not like it as much, but I've had a lot of people say they specifically liked Gidget's route so that made me really happy ldkjaf I just really wanted to show how different each dynamic was and the different ways Iggy himself acted based on that dynamic.

I really wanted to make some fun secrets for people that may try different things in the game even if it means sometimes that not many people will end up seeing them in the end LOL
