glad it was free for a day so that i could hear about it 4 days later and not buy it because i know it was free for a 24hr period.  Very predatory advertising scheme to hand out a title for free for 24hrs only to rescind it after people know it exists.

If you down voted let me point out this is a drm free game.  Changing the price after release does nothing except promote piracy

Offering a game for free for a few days to build interest isn't predatory. Sales are not inherently predatory. The act of building hype is not inherently predatory. Predatory practices would be trying to trick the people who already have it to give them more money, or slipping hidden costs into the game that aren't obvious up front.

Not to mention it's only $4 now, which is still pretty close to free, really. I thought Baba is You was creative enough I'm happy to give this studio $4 to see their take on Into the Breach.

You, my friend, are what we in the bizz call "a fucking dumbass".

This doesn't promote piracy. It only promotes piracy if you think that it's cool to steal a $4 game from an independent artist. Piracy should be about people getting it who either could not otherwise afford it, or about people frankly just objecting to predatory practises like streaming services' locking everything down to an overpriced cable-like subscription.

If you want to steal, go ahead, this isn't predatory and it's standard marketing.

why doesn't ahym just buy the game instead of whining about how the game was free in the past? are they stupid or something?
