not sure if it was an intentional thing but it always gave me a feeling that some paths arnt really meant to end in the "happily ever after" trope for example mikkos route although him being the typical old best freind that you lost contact with it still dident end with you two ending together really more just setteling in a sense might just be reading too much into it but jus my opinion
