For some reason I just couldn't get used to the camera controls with mouse. Probably personal issue, I kept switching between inverted and not inverted but couldn't get it to feel right. Nonetheless, I did manage to get into the tower and got the the point with obtaining the Spring pad that you could throw around, great idea!

But for so early in the game I did find it frustrating that I i missed a jump I would fall down multiple floors of progress and have to re-climb back up. Sort of like how Tick Tock Clock in SM64 punishes you heavily. This felt a bit too early in the game to punish for missing jumps. I ended up stopping my playthrough because it was in addition to the slight motion sickness from not getting used to the camera controls (again probably just a me issue)

This game looked and felt great but the jumping mechanics felt a bit lacking. At least from a bit of experimenting and reading the About section.

For example, it didnt seem like I could jump out of a roll to get a long horizontal jump. The slam/ground-pound bounce jump didnt seem to add anything to a normal jump. Maybe more jump options and techniques could help. Especially being so used to the long jumps, chain jumps, dives, etc in SM64.

If the future game did expand on this, + also updated how the camera works, I would definitely play this more.

Again, great visuals and theme I really enjoyed the looks of the game.

Thank you for the feedback! The moveset has been something we've looked into expanding upon more along with the camera controls. Apologies for the disorientation you've experienced. We will try and address these issues in future versions! - Jeff

The problem with the camera seems to be that unticking invert camera y doesn't actually change anything on controller or mouse

We have been hearing quite a bit about this bug. We'll be putting out a hotfix for some of the more pressing ones very soon. Really sorry for the inconvenience. - Jeff
