Hm. I actually don't know why that's happening for you. My best guess is that for some reason itchio's servers are funking, or your browser isn't compatible with it. You may also be getting blocked by your vpn/firewall. Lots of potential causes. The game is still live for me and many other folks, though.
What kind of computer are you running it on? The game does run on phones so you may try using a different device and seeing if you get the same results.

I figured out how to play it - open this game page on a browser, because it has an imbedded window to run the game without downloading it.

What I did wrong apparently was download the game files and then run them (which didn't work). I first saw your project published while on itch.io desktop app, which does not allow to run the game on the main page itself. Therefore, seeing that it could not be played online, I downloaded it. I tried running the files on chrome, microsoft edge and operagx on a windows 10 laptop.

Hope this helps  if anyone else has a similar problem.

Yeah, browser based games are fiddly to make (I think) but are fine for small and short games. The downside later on would be longer loading times as files become bigger (not really in your case - png's and text don't take up much space) and the problem with progress saving.

After finally playing it - I enjoyed it :D

Warmhearted as always. I noticed you used some assets (mostly the music) from your previous visual novels which brought some nostalgia (yes I can be nostalgic over things that happened a couple of years ago lol).  Atm marbles are not being used yet, you can take only one job at a time, and there are three different demons.

Marbles could be used for temporary scented candles that could be used to have a higher chance to get different demonic motes or buy items for your demons. Maybe it would be possible to see faces of whoever is speaking on the other side of Commarble. Some instructions about the stats of the creatures would be nice.

Sorry if I went on a bit of a rant, I just can' stop myself when it comes to things that I care about.  This demo is already quite well done and I'm sure it will only get better from here. Take care!

Glad you had a lil fun with it!
A big reason I landed on this type of game after a year and a half or so of experimenting is that it's so easy to envison new mechanics and systems! I'll do my best to keep adding fun new stuff.

Hey, hi, how have you been (?), it's great to see that you're back and also bringing something new and interesting to your current roster of games as well so far!

I hope it's not too out of the blue or even to personal to ask you this question, especially since you've just come back recently with a new game although regarding the most recent game you've posted/uploaded here, I was just wondering if any of the old game mechanics plus systems you had on the ones that you've revealed before will be available or have a part in/on this new one you've shown just now even if this is only the demo version of it and not the full actual release of it (mainly depending on whenever you decide to reveal the version you are satisfied with) that which then afterward you soon will update and improve overtime according to your own set schedule of course?

I learned a lot from previous projects! I hope to make little nods to past things I've done, use the best of what I've figured out, but I'd say that this new project will have more of its own identity and direction.

I don't know if it's possible, but I hope that whenever you feel like doing so you can go back to the previous games that you've done before to make whatever updates as well as any other improvements you want to do on them so they can be just as good if not better as this most recent project you've posted/uploaded here right alongside next to your recently released simulation project as well also!

Not only am I hoping that your old VN games might maybe possibly get a complete reboot/remake/remaster to them, but I would also love to see whether you could add the themes and mechanics you had on them before onto the most recent projects you've released most recently, especially in the case of having the chance to play from the perspective of the main character (either as a regular anthropomorphic individual character OC or even as a demon/daemon who was working a job to fill their quota in their demonic realm). Like in the previous ones as well as also having the options of making choices and taking certain actions that were available either through multiple choice or through the battle card system that you had before on your last project (or even in between having both of those mechanics done in a way that was together or separate in either way) which as you probably might still remember is titled as https://zyyphelze.itch.io/rapturous, and right alongside that one which to me is possibly your best one to ever be done by you so far known as https://zyyphelze.itch.io/between-the-shrouded-peaks. Although even if there were a few bumps here or there in the works as you added on to it and the one after it, I still think you could still possibly continue from where you left off on both rapturous and between the shrouded peaks in the case that maybe possibly shrouded peaks could have more story added onto it before coming to the ending you had in mind or perhaps there could be continuation/sequel to it in some shape or form, but that's probably best left to the creator to decide that outcome not anybody else isn't it? But in any case I'm always so glad to see your work whether it's in the form of art, comics, visual novels or anything else somewhat almost closely similarly like them in today's entertainment franchises and medias today! I'm also impatiently eagerly excited to see what you add on to your newest projects or what else you might make alongside them, no matter how you might go about creating them as well as whatever tool/program you might use to make them as good as they are right here and now!

I'm glad you like so much of my work haha. I'm going to keep creating things. I just sometimes take a while to bring all my ideas and ambition to the table. If I return to projects it'll likely be far into the future when I want to completely rethink some of my favorite characters and ideas.
