Lots to talk about!

First of all, the arrangement is surprisingly pleasant.

The first surprise is the little flute melody. It's simple, it's pretty. Then you throw in a big drumbeat that wakes us up. I love being surprised like that.

I like the variations in arrangement you propose, especially the flute and xylophone melody that switches to a synth triangle at 1'32". The little undertale noises (?) are also earcandies.

My favorite passage is at 2'50" with the pads in detune, it's soaring and very pretty.

On the question of mix and technique, there are two points on which I think you can improve your composition:

1 - Your 50% square has too short an attack (0ms?) and there's a little click on each note. You could use a short 5ms attack to correct this problem without altering the sound.

2 - Allow yourself more variation on the drums (stop the cymbals, double the tempo or divide it by 2).

I hope my advice inspires you. In any case, I think it's a solid composition which, thanks to your ingenious variations, makes for an enjoyable 4 minutes 40 of music.

Thank you for the feedback! The drums seem to be the thing that is getting the most criticism so I’ll definitely work on that for the future!

Also I had a lot of fun making the song have different sections.
