Thank you for your detailed post, and for playing it so extensively!

I realized too late that 2d lights are very gpu instense, and I did not dare to change it fearing I will break the game.

It was indeed my intention to ease the players into how to play the game in the first 5 levels, but I fully expected to have a lot of players reach their limit in the early levels. I was thinking about adding a third action button. But in my own gaming experience it rarely helps in novel scenarios, I still press the wrong buttons when I play a game that has -  for me - unusual controls.

One of the things that is not obvious, is that there are only 4 logical colors, there is no difference between blues. You can wash together any kind of blue clothes without a problem. On level 8 you can just put everything together generally. On the other hand in Level 9...

I would have loved to see the cloth organizing you did on the ground. In general I would love to see people struggle, and be overloaded with my game haha.

You can start the washing machines with 5 seconds delay to each other and if you manually stop them once the clothes are drying you can get a lot out of the limited electricity.

If you are interested in a perfect level 8 run, and an almost perfect level 9 I made a playthrough video (level 10 is more of an endurance game):
