Very pretty! I like the low-poly aesthetic, and it was fun to see all the clever places you hid the gems. A few recommendations:
- For desktop games, it's handy to include a "Readme" file in the download with the same instructions that are on your game's webpage, so that the player has easier access to the controls and other important information you've written.
- My mouse didn't seem to work on the main menu, and the arrow keys didn't select anything as well. If your main menu is just an image, you should probably remove the buttons and just have the "Press P to play" message.
- For desktop games, please make sure there's a way to quit the game from inside the game! I don't like when I have to open Task Manager to force close the game...
- In my rush to find all the gems, I lost count! Some kind of counter, maybe up by the timer, would be very helpful to know how many gems you have left.
- By jumping onto the box with the wheel on the side, you can jump onto the wall and run around to the finish line 😉 I would recommend putting invisible walls along the outside of your brick wall, which would fix a whole lot of out-of-bounds glitches in one go. Gamers generally hate invisible walls, but they're very effective for keeping people out, and in a game like this, there's no reason the player ever has to go outside of the brick wall you set up.
I see this is one of the first games you've put out on your page! Congratulations! It has a lot of potential 🎉
