I think this game could have used a bit more variation in terms of enemies or movement or powerups. I feel like an arcade game like this could've benefitted from powerups, like faster movement or more faster bullets or something. The game feels good, just a bit underdeveloped.

Sound wise, I think the ambience noise you've chosen clashes a bit with your vocal, cutesy sound effects. It feels like you were going for a cartoony "mobile" feel with every other effect, but the ambience feels more like a horror or suspense game. It kind of fits the void background, but it clashes a bit with the other effects in my opinion!
Also, I think the sfx that plays when an enemy touches an enemy you've transformed into a circle is too loud compared to the other stuff. I had to turn down my volume after a bit.

The little particle effects are a nice touch that feel the game feel a bit more alive. Same goes for the screen shake.

I think with a bit more content this game could be really good! Keep it up!

Thanks for the feedback!
This was my first time making my own sound effects so I agree they are not the best, but it was fun making weird noises in my mic.

Content wise I agree, but my goal for this jam was polish so I limited the scope to the bare minimum in order to have time for the game feel.

I feel like I achieved my goal as this is my most polished game to date!

Absolutely! Making sound effects is about that - experimenting and having fun! :)

Ah, I see. I think you met your goal for this jam quite nicely, congrats on the game feel!

Keep up the good work!
