Overall I liked this game a lot.
Im not sure if it is a bullet sprite glitch or I missed a bullet coming at me, but I seemed to die a few time at random.

I liked that I could feed the mutant fish to each other to control the pop, It was a fun little discovery!

Very polished and I liked the gameplay.
The only issue i had was the difficulty curve, the game got easier over time when it should get harder.

I like the idea, but as other have stated, when falling into a hole you get stuck in the falling state and cannot mutate jump out so you have to restart.

The art is very good!

I originally had it so you could also shoot the mines to explode them but I think it made it too hard to build a wall.

This was my first time making my own sound effects so I agree they are not the best, but it was fun making weird noises in my mic.

Content wise I agree, but my goal for this jam was polish so I limited the scope to the bare minimum in order to have time for the game feel.

I feel like I achieved my goal as this is my most polished game to date!

Pico-8 games are stored as a .png file.

I had the idea of building your deck as you progressed, however due to the limited time I had to keep the scope small.

As of now the only upgrade is the potions, they give you more cards, or better move distance.

Liked the idea of teaming up to get different benefits.

I think game would benefit from being speed up. Feels like im playing in slow mo

Characters eye animation is very cool!

Finished! nice game took a couple of tries but once i got the dmg boosts I was able to not run out of ammo!

FYI if you get to close to the monsters it wont let you punch

Really nice movement mechanic.
