Hello again, HCK Productions!

1. Some of the Carpricorn Sign seems to not do anything.

Can you elaborate more on what you meant by "Capricorn sign seems not to do anything"?

The short summary of the horoscope choices is more of a customization flavor with very minimal stat increases. As the stat changes are more of a +1 or -1 to starting stats, it wouldn't affect too much on balance, but more of a personalization to creating your protagonist.

2. The game is really unfair at the start, how can a level one character able to defeat a level 8 and 12 bird?

It's really quite unfortunate that you have encountered a Lv8+ monster early in Lodeen Isles. Did you venture too far out?
Only the area surrounding the starting village has lv1-3 monsters.
Beyond that, it's based on the area and the troop it spawns on.

3. How you Revive yourself when you die but in a team?

The game is designed to be challenging, with revival and healing options being intentionally (very) limited. In the full game, only 2 mercenaries and 2 classes have the ability to resurrect party members. However, this can be mitigated by obtaining/purchasing Life Dews or Analeptic Potions which can revive your party members.

Alternatively, if you have downed party members, you can only truly revive them in an infirmary. Inns will not revive them.

If you need more information and guide on the system mechanics,
you can press the "H" button to re-view the tutorials again!

4. Low frame rate drops

This is probably an oversight on my part.
I began development using 1920x1080 instead of the native resolution.

However, as the game content increases, it became evident that supporting HDR quality on RMMZ engine may be too taxing on PC resources for a low end computer user.
After several iterations and adjustments of the demo, the stuttering framerate has been drastically reduced.

I hope this did not deter you from enjoying the most parts of the game!

Once again, thank you for trying out the demo!

when you select the Capricorn Sign, one of the top ones, in the characters properties it says "unknown" and looking through them all, found that this one doesn't do anything.

For the starter area, was just doing the herb collection and then they popped up, got it a few times after that too.

Couldn't get a item to revive an don't think there was any hospitals in the island where this happened, had to sort of die and load the autosave, both characters were at 1hp but least their alive again XD

also talking about the revive stones, can you adjust the gold gain from the enemies, you don't get enough to get a single one even after you get to level 10 more because you use a lot of potions and with that, a lot of gold for them.

the other small thing is, decrease the boss rats level, had to farm to level 10 before having a chance, it was fine if there's a lot to do and doing it only takes up to an hour, its just more boring at the moment, maybe add some side quests to help level the character? also the hag one shots you even if your the same level as them and even resist some of the damage XD lol

Hihi HCK Productions,

I'll check again into the bird levels 8+ triggers and the Capricorn signs.

I have tested that the Rat/Snake boss can be cleared at level 5-6 (average out of 3 party members)
During my own testing, I have also died (lol) if I tried to rush to any battle without properly equipping my characters.
They'd just hit for 0 or single digits.
There's a caveat to this - first you'll need to gear up your team properly and use your limit breaks (100 TP) skills at the right moments.
E.g Saving your 100TP on protagonist or Lance and use it immediately when the boss battle starts, trivializes the fight drastically.

Scream has a % to provoke and confuse enemies, use that to your advantage.
You will learn new Seduction skills as the promiscuity stat or submissiveness stat increases.
Damage system works very similar to FF7, you will need stronger equipment to see proper numbers if you are under levelled.

Opening chests actually will yield more gold in the prologue area.
There are quests in Little Oasis and Port Lodeen that will help with your gold problem.

In summary, the game emphasizes more on equipment readiness than the levels.
Choice of mercenaries, TP and skill usage can turn hard battles into trivial fights easily.
But yes... I agree that the first 1-3 levels may sometimes be 'meh'.

Hope that helps!

thanks for the information, used the Glitter/Glow attack to do alot of damage to the boss or any enemy actually as that thing can hit anything for over 2k damage if you use it often enough... plus their cheaper to use.

for the Port and Oasis quests, never got them even though I spoke to everyone in these locations, did i miss a trigger or something?

I think using three members for the rat boss seem little unrealistic because most will follow the quest path, that means they would need to get to the ship and dismiss their temp member to get a new one later as you need him to get to next area, side note, anyway to dismiss him after recruiting for anyone wanting to try going solo?

For little oasis, the npc is Sabrina for red goblin quest. You may have to find her at specific time i.e afternoon/evening to trigger it.

Port Lodeen, there is a "hidden" tavern just near the entrance. In there, a quest npc, a hirable tank mercenary and a time waster npc is available.

Lance is a story character crucial to the main plot. So he will not be removable at the early parts of the story. In the full game, there is a choice where he will leave you permanently based on your choices.

think i spoke to the girl Sabrina, must of not been the right time, will try again later, as for the Port bar, there is four NPC's in there, the bartender, the hire, the drunk and the one who doesn't talk much, is there a quest here or is there a NPC missing? about to leave so all the 'main' stuff is done. also this bar isn't so hidden XD

oh so need to keep this annoying character while playing the demo? lol

also talking about the full game, will there be a perfect route and ending were nothing bad happens to the character?

Patch eye Pim is the one that has the quest but he doesnt give it out as a standard "quest"You just have to collect the goblin tooths for exchange.

Yeah... I'm happy you found him annoying lol

That's exactly his character ;)

The main (purity) route is the vanilla (default) ending where she saves the world.

Awesome, thank you, while the content is fine and at times enjoyable, still like to try get the perfect ending in a game XD lol

Is it normal for him to like the disagreement? sort of reason i think he's annoying if am honest XD

don't think i found Patch eye Pim as I have defeated some Goblins just never got any teeth from them, is he only there at certain times or do you need to do something like the oasis quest first?

Patch Eye Pim might only respond to you if an annoying person is in your party.
I'm already giving you many hints XD

Unfortunately, the Demo does not have a 'perfect' clear and you cannot bring over your accumulated stats to a new game.
What the demo can do, however, is reward you with interesting and different treasures from chests on every new playthrough.

In the full game, you can carry over all your equipment and stats when you obtain/unlock a game clear, a special ending or a slave ending.

I'm really glad you enjoyed the game :)

never knew there was different items in the chests, that's cool, if the other classes dont get people attention am sure that will XD

Oh, does he have to be alive, think i spoke to them in the bar when he was knocked out before, or maybe i had the guard with me when I tried before and forgot lol

Dont worry, Perfect ending Demos isn't very common, will play the full game when it releases and will get that Perfect ending XD

Forgot to add a bug report as well. this error pops up every time i try accessing my Auxiliary tab in both the inventory and Equipment menu, no idea what i picked up that caused this but need to close game to make it disappear.

Edit: don't know if this is a bug but the side quests wont activate, waiting in the area for like three days, exiting and entering the area and towns every 30 minutes or hour later, It changes somethings around as the day goes by but it still doesn't trigger any of them, so i think the game is bugged itself out? Think they two is the last things to do on the island, did everything else i think.

actually, you can return to the island to explore. Just remember to activate the teleport crystal in Port Lodeen before you leave for Nephalia.

Which Auxiliary item did u try to equip? It might be a glitched item.

As for the side quest on the island I'm not sure which one you are trying to start. But I still recommend you move out of the island for better progression, if that's what you are aiming for.

Sorry, am not sure what item I picked up, think it was after exploring one of the caves on the first island.

thought you couldn't return to the island, reason I tried to do all the quests before leaving all the time, I knew the port stones were there but thought that was still WIP or opens in full game for some reason.

Also about the tutorials, thought there was a Night time warning, so it warns you about the deadly versions of enemies, this is in the Demo so why is the tutorial about this not in this Demo version?

There isn't a night-time warning. It is understood that when the map turns dark it would be either night fall or in a cave without lighting. As for deadly versions of enemies, it was only mentioned briefly in the tutorial about more dangerous enemies in the night.  The tutorial only aims to provide information at the most fundamental level.

I greatly value your input for the tutorial and it is important to improving the game's basic guidance.
I'll review and improve the tutorial's critical information as much as I can for the full game.

For demo, unfortunately I would not have time to improve further on. It shall remain as is.

As always, please feel free to share any input or feedback that you feel that could enhance your enjoyment of the game.

I Remember playing an older version of this Demo some time ago, there was a tutorial about the 'Deviant' and the really strong versions of the enemies at night, that's why I was asking what happened to it.

I also found the issue about the Auxiliary tab, I think its to do with the different classes, it seems to bug out after that. *Edit: going to any shop also bugs it you try selecting any you want? need to try see if its a single item or all...

Hope this will help improve the game in the long run and don't worry, focus on the main game, we dont need a new Demo version, unless you want to fix any bugs or crashing, I think you focusing on the full game is great, meanwhile I will see if i can find more issues that need fixing XD lol

Found issue already, when loading the game into the main map, the frame rate drops to 0 and if your on the ship when this happens it seems to skip a trigger and runs into the island and gets stuck, so basically it soft locks itself due to the frame rate, maybe not have the ride triggers connected to the talking and more to the ship hitting a point on the map, might fix this so even if someone gets bad frame rate, at least they dont get stuck?

Can I check with you what computer specs you are using to run the game?

Its not that fast but its strong enough for games much more Graphical to this lol, but its a Readeon RX 580.

Thanks for pointing this out. the Auxiliary items may be glitched when I did a bulk import. I believe you can still play normally without equipping the auxiliary slots. Rest assured this won't happen in the full game.

yes, its fine as long as you don't try highlighting any in your inventory or shop, its fine, it will crash with an error if you do.

Found a bug or an exploit? when you start a new game and wonder up through the cave and not do the quest to level up, after you get to the tree, you get the hunter but you also get the guard joining you, he will not show up on the UI but will show up in battle. though wondering back to the village and doing the level up quest and recruit him, he will join you anyways so the bug is fixed.

the other bug but also sort of an exploit is if you do the quest with the hunter and go to the ship with the guard, you will get the guard to talk to you but if you pick later you sometimes stay on the dock, if you go to the left it wont activate this again so talking to the ship owner will allow you to bring the guard with you meaning you can have three with you at the mainland, it makes it a little easier, still hard as hell though lol

Finally, you can also get stuck on the island if you port to it without an extra port stone, without the ship there and no port stone, you get soft locked there XD

It may seem like an exploit, but the starting village scout was designed to lose its 'efficiency' as a support after reaching the port.
In place of the village scout, there are already 2 hirable mercenaries in Lodeen Isles, so keeping the village scout (whose level is capped at 7) is not really wise.
I recall you can buy teleport stones in the item store. If it isn't there, I'll make a note to add it in, for QOL purposes.

Thanks for pointing out!

after porting back to the island as a wanted to finish the north cave, looking in the shop, there was none to buy so just wanted to say that if you dont have a spare, you might be a little stuck, I had one on me due to getting two from the stones so I was safe, but if you wanted to come here again you would need two and they are not cheap XD
