Solid game all around. I made it till the patron's fight, but died instantly lol

This game definitely needed a save system because it was definitely a little annoying having to restart from the beginning when you died. ( Though it is technically a rogue-lite so I guess there's that )

The art and audio was beautifully demented. I especially loved the animations on that 3rd insect boss lol. It was disgusting in all the right ways. Painting the levels red never got old

Every boss was designed damn well and had good telegraphs for their attacks ( Though I think the patron's attacks could have been telegraphed better since I couldn't really tell the difference between his charge and the ground tendril attack )

However, I feel like the player really could have benefitted from a horizontal dash of some sort, or just another mobility option in general. For as nimble as the bosses were, the player really felt a little stiff sometimes in comparison ( This wasn't really too big a problem though now that I think about it )

The implementation of the theme is great though. Having to strategise between using blood now or later was great. Awesome entry overall
