I'm also in the jam, and I know with more time everyone has a list of things they'd like to add or wanted to add. I try to provide the listed feedback in a constructive form to highlight different perspectives as a player and to show that I indeed did play the game.

  • Retro vibes are spot on. I do wish the dialogue text wasn't black, as it breaks those vibes.
  • I am probably not the target audience due to this being so intensely storey heavy
  • I kind of wish I could skip the dialogue it really burns a lot of time trying to get into the actual game loop of the game to decide if this is the type of game I'd enjoy or not.
  • Chill music. Nice sound effects in the dialogue.
  • I wasn't a huge fan of the keyboard layout, but just a personal preference.

Wow, thanks for playing and giving feedback!

  • Probably there's a lot of details I forgot about retro games, but I'll try to improve it in the future, thank you for pointing it out.
  • Yeah, my game focuses a lot on dialogues, so what I can do is to make the story enjoyable.
  • Maybe I'll implement it, but I think it'd be difficult to the player know what the story is about.
  • Thank you! I spent a lot of time deciding a good sound to put in the dialogues.
  • These are controls I'm used to, but I'll see the best layout to my audience, and also add the functionality of changing the keys to a personal preference.
