The game is very fun. I could play for hours. But I found the compatibility with the game jam theme a little loose. It seemed to me that you took a great mechanic and a cool game and simply adapted it to fit the theme by making doors appear to choose from... I imagined the new abilities that appeared from the doors as items that dropped from enemies. There was no need for the doors. I hope you don't misunderstand me. Your game is very good.
