You've done a great job! The game is entertaining (maybe a bit challenging for my taste, or maybe I'm just bad, but I guess that's the intention x'D). Best of luck with your game dev jorney. I'm glad you were able to accomplish something in such a short time; it must have been quite a challenge.

it just strikes me that maybe the last part of your comment addressed the fact I joined the jam pretty late - I actually began development on the second day of the jam, but only joined on itch.io once I was confident enough I would be able to submit something... Just wanted to clarify that xD (initially I wanted to join brackeys game jam, but concluded I liked this game jam's theme and scope better as my first game jam)
