This is a tough game! I liked the graphics and the movement, but I think the core criticism I have is with the enemies. Their AI is good, but a little too good. I think they should have been a little slower than the player, and knocked away when they are hit. That way, when you time your strikes right, you don't get hit unfairly and they don't stick on you like glue if they touch you. Other than that though, this was a great first project for 2D, hope to see more in the future!
