Checked the Questlog - nothing pops up, but that "Caught in the Act" never happened - I had several game crashes that day (a reinstall solved that) maybe something got lost there somewhere? Where do I find the Saves you need?
that sounds like a corrupted game state.saves (on windows) are in C:/Users/<yourid>/appdata/roaming/renpy and are numbered x-y-..., with x being the page and y being the save on that page

just didn't think to try the Flyboy thing again - which was probably lost in the crash issue
