Definitely not that long :D. We will see a lot of things come together this year that will make the timeline clearer. We're crossing that zenith where the tech is fighting us less and we're able to create instead of pummel Unity into submission every time we want to add anything.
You'll begin seeing new characters/enemies added more regularly, as we have a lot of work stuffed in the closet that has been waiting to be put through the remainder of the pipeline. We also plan on making an effort to show off more stages as well, even if the environment art isn't finished, so that we can begin playtesting meaningful missions and game loop mechanics instead of individual maps.
I'm currently looking forward to being past the Patreon troubles, as it's consumed a huge chunk of my time so far this year.
