Hi Niven. I believe I have solved the issue and have uploaded an updated build of the game (v1.0.1). It had something to do with Steam Achievement integration causing an error (which is why it was working properly on Steam), so I removed that feature for the Itch.io version. I appreciate you informing me of the problem and baring with me, and I'm still more than happy to provide you with a Steam code as compensation if you're still interested in the game.
