it might be a problem with volumetric lighting.  turn it off in settings > rendering > volumetric lighting

it didn't help in my case. When there is a lot of light on the base, 30 fps and no more, if you turn on the light sticks, it will just be death. Mb 1050Ti start dying...

another fix would also be to lower the screen resolution in settings > rendering > screen resolution

it does make the game look grainy but it works well at increasing fps (at least in my experience)

I tried that but even with that turned off everything was under 20 fps still, especially during the daytime. I also tried out a previous version to see if id have the same problem and it was just as laggy.
