This game is borderline solid on every single aspect, its style is a culmination of Hunts' catalogue, the polish of the gunplay nails down fun.
Its replayability is undermined by the 'randomized' (it actually doesn't seem randomized, or the randomization happens at game launch rather than actively, because I noticed the same.) placement of the enemies being too close to the doorways.
Otherwise quite enjoyable, good work Hunt!
I did miss UAS, so I'll go play that soon.
Thanks for your comment. You are correct that its only somewhat randomized. The room layout of each level is randomized > then gameplay elements are added > then the level is added to a pool of levels > then a random level is selected from the pool to be played on level change. I hope you enjoy UAS as well!
