The art style is really nice. At first, I was bewildered by the small number of pixels, unable to understand what is where. Maybe the effect was especially strong because the game started fullscreen for me. However, I fell in love with your art style quite quickly.

I passed a dozen of screens and was engaged in the process. It was interesting to explore around and I wish I could have some sort of a map or another way to understand what was my overall progress over the level. The level design is nice; I just would like to suggest one thing: when a player comes out of the door from another room, it’s not the best idea to immediately kill them just because the wandering monster or a saw happens to be near. It’s great when it’s part of a game process, and you can guess where the enemy is. But here, I died a couple of times just because of random bad luck. This is a really minor thing, though, as the overall experience was great.

Lastly, I wasn’t able to shapeshift for some reason. Or maybe I didn’t progress enough through the game to gain this ability?
