This was cool. The platforming felt nice, and the simple story was fun to play through. The music really created such a cute vibe, and the rain falling was a nice touch through the menus to go with it. The art adds to the cute factor too, as does the jumping sound; the atmosphere you created with everything in this game is great :).
I do kinda wish that the ending was a little more satisfying, for a “Short Game about Helping” there doesn’t seem to be much of it. However, that twist does fit the theme well, so I can understand why you did it.
The block breaking is a simple mechanic, but it’s fun. The light humour (especially the flag joke) is fun. Overall, I had fun playing it.
