Try talking to the Royal City Baker. She'll say either she can make it or she needs cucumbers (which you get in fawn forest)
Edit: To answer your question: Yes the Fawn village is by the Dryad Temple (the one with the overgrown plants.)
By any chance, did you have the second pickle quest as an active quest? If not, go back to Cedar City, go to the blacksmith, and if there is an NPC with an exclamation point over his head, then good chances you didn't technically start it yet. If not, just head to the farm and talk to the pickle girl.
