Oh my gosh this was such a creative idea for a game, Overcooked but you gotta fight the ingredients to get them?? 5 stars alone for that. The game is quite charming as a whole, with your little chef protagonist, the setting of the restaurant contrasted with the cellar area, and the sweet lighting effects you added. In its current state tho, wow is this game difficult. I was proper struggling with only a couple orders completed. A simple change would be to extend the customer timers or the frequency in which new ones come in. A couple more critiques would be to add a little decal in the kitchen to remind people of what the recipes are, and also clearer markers to show where the doors are. Overall, I congratulate you on the ambitious idea & executing it!

Thanks for playing and leaving feedback! Yeah, I had no idea how to balance this game in time and I ended up doubling the timer length several times to get to where I am, but it's still not enough, especially for new players. I can barely get 4 orders before dying. I also realized that because I turned collision shapes on for most of the dev time, I never noticed how not-obvious the room transitions were. And the recipes were very last minute added to the intro. It took too long programming to get anyone to beta-test the game, but I realize now how important that is, since your player won't read your mind and they also usually won't read the full description before playing the first time, but being confusing can really turn them off a game.
