I'm sorry, we're talking about it being a "waste of money" for the DEV? The players are the ones literally being forced to rebuy the game with no compensation whatsoever.
I understand it. I'd like the game I purchased to have the same amount of features as people who buy it later, not less. Multiplayer is a pretty big deal for "the only paywalled feature"!!
