its crap you cant remove houses or barns its another map made foor people who just get on long enough to farm

(1 edit)

They made no mans land for the people that like to build there own farm. We are playing on his medicine creek map same thing but very well placed pre built farms no need to ruin the map.

how would building your own farm ruin a map some people like to do that and not be limited to pre bulid farms

so play no mans land. or pick a field and start building. why destroy the authentic look of a map by destroying the creators design farms? might as well play on no mans lad where you build completly from scratch or i think theres a flat map too. some of these maps take a long time to design and everyone wants to destroy te look and idea of the creator by destroying there map

lmao ok no mans land is an empty map with nothing in it so building anything in it would be useless and building your own farm doesn't  destroy a map at all haha its a very very common thing to do on any map, and I've never seen a map creator get mad over someone building a farm on their map so I really don't get how you are mad about that

exactly, no mans land is empty so build away to the way you want it why do you need another map thats made for people that perfer pre made farms and just add on buildings as they work? im irritated at the fact that people call maps junk just because the buildings and fences are static and cant be removed. Thats disrespecting the makers in my eyes. The map makers i have talked to about maps all put a bunch of time that they could be playing the game or doing something else off the computer. i see on social media people asking why more developers are using patreon now or have quit making all together. disrespect and bad mouthing there work because it doesnt work with the mods they use or its not what a singular person wants. since this game launched i have seen 3 developers go to patreon because of disrespect from users. these are people that i have helped with ideas and used there makings in previous games. but the princesses that play now complain because one mod conflicts with another and blame the developer. FYI removing certain buildings on maps will mess up the map and make it unplayable without a new start. Have done it on a map just to move it over 4 ft to place a small silo and made the map go crazy it was a mess. i wont say the map because its not on the creator

ok yeah calling the map crap because buildings cant be removed  was dumb especially since you can do it easily in GE  if you know what you are doing

but still nothing wrong with building a farm on a map no matter where you do it its a public mod you can do whatever you want with it

and paid mods and patreon are ruining modding

I'm not sure if you're new to my style, but I do enjoy building farms for people to play on, that's my focus. I know that's a very FS15/FS17 mindset, maybe I'm a little traditional in that sense, but there is still lots of land to build your own farm on this map. Making everything sellable is a lot more work than most people realize. Sorry it couldn't meet your standards for a good map, hope you find what you're looking for out there

we have enjoyed ashton corners and currently medicine creek. gonna check this one out now. looks flat, which isnt my play style, i put waterways in and like the diffuculty of contour farming. im still gonna check it out though. keep up the great work. we appreciate it

It is definitely flat, its a map I built years ago before I could refine my DEM methods. I wish I woulda put the water trenches into this, but I'm sure I'll have another opportunity someday! Ashton Corners is getting an update for sure, already working on it!

sweet, thanks

Hey dude go and learn the Giants editor and in there you can open up his map and remove the buildings you don't want  and not have to complain about it on here.
