Well this was trippy, so it has a fitting title!
The turning was interesting, but imo a little too disorienting. I like the little wiggle on the tail end but it feels like it instantly turns and then adds the wiggle, which when combined with all the walls and floors looking the same makes it very easy to get turned around.
I didn't manage to get all 12 shrooms but I did enjoy what I played. I think you should be proud of how efficiently scoped this game is too, it's unique but without getting insanely ambitious and manages to do a fair bit with only a little content.
I liked the visual effects when losing health or taking the shrooms, very neat.
