I've actually been chatting with someone else who wanted to use these in Hex Kit, and they have let me know a better way to export them for this.
It's on my to do list, and now that you're asking too, i'll bump it up a bit. I might even be able to sort this out today for you.

It's great news that you're working on the Hex Kit conversion, because your tiles and your art are very beautiful and atmospheric, and I'm sure they will make a great impression on my players when I show them the hexcrawl land map on the online Old-School Essentials session.
