Telltale Games made a few 3D adventure games. Like Back to the Future: The Game, several Sam and Max games, and Tales of Monkey Island. And I'm pretty sure I saw it said that Life is Strange counts, as well as some of the walking simulators.

And combat, tactics, and being open world are all fine as long as the main game play fits within the definition of adventure games.

Thanks!

What would you say about a first person adventure game?

(Just seeing all the options avaible)

First person is rare in commercial adventure games, but it's possible. Myst is first person. And there seem to be a lot of games under first person adventure here on Itch. But I can't say how many of those actually fit the true definition.

There's also the Dark Fall series, which I forgot about since I've only played a few minutes of one of them.
