Sorry to hear you feel that way! Your criticism doesn't really stick entirely, there are unique cutscenes that occur given the choices of the player (including one that depends on whether or not you were captured by a prior enemy). Either way, with 50+ girls it's difficult to make EVERY encounter cinematic and have major impacts on the story. I'm curious as to how you would recommend making each encounter more cinematic, though!
Hmmm that is an interesting idea, although with how often players get caught or captured I just feel it would be strange to cut out the music constantly or to change it only for them to break free and go back to the overworld soundtrack. When you said the game feels like "nothing on top of nothing" I thought you wanted me to add more stuff, wouldn't it make it feel more empty if I took away music for encounters?
