Per instructions:
"The game ends when a player's battery reaches a set charge (25 units by default). If that player started the game, the opponent takes one more turn."
Both players get to make the same number of moves. Whoever goes second, goes last. You started the game, so Robot finished it.
You can click on the Robot icon at the start of the game to make it go first.
