This was fun! I like the mechanic of having to be inside during the lightning strikes. The game has a pretty nice difficulty curve as the spikes are added for some extra challenge. I like the pixel art too! Some things I think you could add that would make it even better is some parallax scrolling on the background would be cool and if there was an animation for lightning striking even when the player is hidden inside, I think that would be a nice addition too. Great job on this, I liked it a lot!
