With plans to register with this site and begin selling a raft of indie tabletop roleplaying games that my cousin and I create (after already achieving Mithral-best-seller status on DMsGuild with multiple titles), I have signed up today specifically to support this post.

DriveThruRPG, DMsGuild and the entire OneBookShelf operation have been a fantastic resource for professional and independent creators. But Itch promises a lot for us indie creators, and it will be great to have a channel that remains more independently inclined and can do things that OBS can't. First and foremost, itch is already a few steps ahead in terms of UX/UI, and being in the video game space pretty much ensures that will always be a focus, one that OBS consistently falls down on.

I look forward to publishing on Itch, and I'd be even more excited if the tabletop roleplaying game focus expanded, including better merchandising and the potential for Print on Demand.
