art and general story are pretty good. 

i would change the current route a little so he catches his wife because it feels like the husband is too dense. whether that results in continued ntr or not or nts/etc. like all the things that happen just stack up too much. the make-up she was wearing matches the cosplay photo. his wife refuses to be in the same room as her friend's girlfriend. she gives a wrong address going the complete wrong way. girlfriend wears mask despite being fine without it as shown from cosplay photo. looks and sounds like his wife. while going home gets a message from his wife ( she shouldn know he's going home) and that coincidently makes him get home later. showered twice. experience with putting together cosplays and doesn know what a temporary tattoo is. there's also how she went to cosplay for her friend multiple times.

 an option to be suspicious and pretend to "not see" the text message and catch her or remove that second text message and have her ask him to pick up the stuff while coming home before he leaves that morning would feel better because otherwise he just feels too stupid. too many points of suspicion such that it feels wrong.

I completely understand your point.
But I genuinely wanted to create at least one scenario where the main character observes the scene without harboring significant suspicion.
I struggled to find a way to make this path without portraying the main character as overly dense.
This should be the only pathway where this issue arises because I want to steer this story towards netorase.

I really like this idea to create a bad ending here, I might add it later in the development.
